Our Hiring Process

Stage 1

Application

During the online application, we will ask the applicant some questions and require them to upload professional documents and certificates. Please be ready to upload pdf copies of medical practitioner qualifications, professional registration and license to practice, and professional education certificates such as ACLS, PALS, ATLS, PHTLS, or others relevant to the role. If you have visible tattoos, detailed pictures will also be required.
Stage 2

Application Criteria Match Review

Our recruitment team reviews the application to ensure that the qualifications, professional registration, clinical experience background, practice time, skill set, and other applicable details match the job requirements. We review all the provided documents to make sure they match the necessary criteria.
Stage 3

Personal Interview

The personal interview aims to meet the applicant and assess personality traits and professional stance through a series of questions and scenarios. Topics like career goals, managing relationships at work, resolving professional discrepancies, or customer service skills are in focus, among others, as well as communication skills and presentation during the meeting. Interviews use videoconference and can be live with a recruiter or on-demand using an automated system.
Stage 4

Technical Interview

Technical interviews use videoconference with one of our doctors, nurses, or paramedics leading the interaction. The candidate's professional skills are challenged with clinical scenarios and questions to demonstrate the necessary abilities to provide the best clinical practice and outcomes in the approached subjects. 
Stage 5

Final Review for Outcome

When passing all the previous steps, the application is subject to review by the hiring managers for the position to determine an outcome. Those applicants who succeed will receive a conditional job offer.
Stage 6

Conditional Offer

After successfully passing all the previous stages, we will extend you a job offer, conditional on your acceptance and completing the following Onboarding stage. Employment can only be confirmed the day you physically join a vessel for your first assignment,
Stage 7

Pre-hired

If you accept the offer and return the signed letter, you progress to the last stage of hiring, the Onboarding process. This includes various administrative details to be verified, including but not limited to the possession of a valid passport and travel documents (including necessary visas), a valid Medical Fitness Certificate, Vaccination and Disease Screenings, and required Certificates of Competency (or training), as well as successful completion of background and professional reference checks. Our team of experts will assist during the Onboarding stage, ensuring all the necessary steps are confirmed to join a vessel finally.
